George Steuart Recruitment was incorporated in 1993 but had commenced business in the year 1986 as a division of George Steuart & Co., The Company's main activity is the recruitment of professionals, skilled, semi-skilled and un-skilled workers for overseas principals and it has gained a positive reputation among foreign employers. The Company has a wide range of foreign principals in countries such as UAE, Doha Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain. George Steuart Recruitment successfully handled over 4,000 recruits to South Korea through the Korean Federation of Small and Medium Business (KFSMB) during the period 1997 to 2007.

After almost three decades of service, the company's operations were temporarily halted when the Covid-19 pandemic led to a downturn of the foreign employment agency business. The current economic environment in Sri Lanka and renewed global interest have now created the right conditions to revive this sector.

Accordingly, George Steuart Recruitment has resumed its operations after a brief hiatus. With renewed vigor and commitment, we are eager to connect skilled professionals with rewarding international career opportunities.
