George Steuart partners with Sri Lanka Natural History Society to promote Sri Lanka’s ecological legacy

George Steuart & Company partnered with the Sri Lanka Natural History Society to support its efforts to promote knowledge and appreciation of Sri Lanka’s biodiversity and ecosystems.

Established in 1912, the Sri Lanka Natural History Society has played an important role in advancing the study and understanding of Sri Lanka’s natural environment through research, knowledge sharing, field excursions, and educational programmes. Through this partnership, Steuart Senehasa, the corporate social responsibility arm of George Steuart & Company, supports the SLNHS Monthly Lecture Series, a platform that brings together experts to share insights on wildlife, marine ecosystems, environmental conservation, and nature photography.

By supporting initiatives that encourage learning, awareness, and greater appreciation of Sri Lanka’s natural heritage, the partnership reflects the spirit of Steuart Senehasa, where happiness meets purpose, while contributing towards the preservation and understanding of the island’s rich biodiversity for future generations.
